  Who Is Mr Surya Kant? Justice Surya Kant, a man from Hisar, Haryana had crossed his path with grit and determination to become a  Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 24 th  May, 2019. Being a die-hard fan of Kamal Haasan and an admirer of his works, it has been a shocker for me to witness his representation as a Member of Parliament after he was elected by the State MLAs on July 25th, 2025.  Should we be happy about it or not?  It depends on verifiability, we can assess its utility for the residents of Tamil Nadu, since the Rajya Sabha is the upper house that represents or deals with the concerns of the people of Tamil Nadu.
